CBC is delighted to announce its support for the charity, Richard House, by becoming a Community Partner to London’s first children’s hospice providing palliative care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Commented Chairman, Andrew Wallas, “We were particularly keen to support a local charity and were inspired by the work that Richard House do to help children and their families going through the most difficult times. The team has already organised a number of fund-raising events during the Summer months including a Euro Football Sweepstake, a monthly lottery and a bingo night which has sparked some light-hearted competitiveness and camaraderie amongst staff.”
When current pandemic restrictions are lifted, the company is looking forward to getting together for a fund-raising quiz night. This, together with other planned activities, will bolster the Company’s intention to have fun, but also provide for additional therapy sessions and activities at Richard House to create lasting memories for children and their families.
