CBC Insurance (UK) limited, the employee-owned, wholly independent Lloyd’s broker, is pleased to announce that it is expanding its horizons with the formation of two new specialist
companies.

(A) CBC Healthcare Limited

Justin Palmer has been recruited from JLT and will act as CEO of CBC Healthcare Limited. This company will provide all forms of North American Healthcare insurance, including Medical Malpractice for Hospitals, Physicians, Senior Care facilities and Miscellaneous Medical facilities to Cyber, Regulatory Medical Billings and ancillary lines such as Stand-Alone Abuse, Active Shooter type coverages, Violent Malicious Acts, Terrorism, EPL, D&O and balance sheet products such as Aggregate Stop Losses and LPT’s. Justin will be supported by other seasoned practitioners in the Healthcare sector.

Having worked at RK Carvill and Lloyd & Partners, Justin has a unique background with vast experience and long-standing industry relationships. Justin commented, “The US Healthcare market has changed immeasurably over the last year, and the past few months has moved it another full circle. What worked previously does not necessarily work now and CBC affords the perfect independent platform to best serve clients by designing creative solutions that will enable us to place non-standard policies in the marketplace.”

(B) CBC Specialty Limited

Malcolm Cullum has been recruited from Miller Insurance and will act as CEO of CBC Specialty Limited. This company will provide all forms of North American Professional Liability, Financial Risks, Directors and Officers and Extended Warranty insurance. Malcolm is a well-known and respected market practitioner having started his career in insurance with Minet in 1978, moving to C J Coleman to establish Coleman and Cullum Limited, and subsequently joining Miller Insurance. Malcolm will be joined by several other experienced market leaders in this field.
